Euroclad Standing Seam Roofing over 142m Curved Roof. Paroc Wall Cladding Panels with an Icopal Membrane Roof.

SCF were involved in the design, procurement and site management of the ES400 standing seam roofing at MM Flowers distribution centre. The administration block is formed of Paroc Cladding Panels with an Icopal Membrane Roof over.

Roof Sheet Lengths

The pitch of the roof as it forms over the barrel vault actually became flat over a section of around 10m in the central section of the roof. As this is outwith the BBA certification and industry recommendations it was necessary to create a fall to ensure all rain water was shed from the roof. 


Due to the length of the roof sheets required on the project, it was necessary to roll at eaves. This was a spectacular site to achieve the 142m long single sheet over the barrel vault. A fixed point was created centrally along  the high point of the roof to ensure the expansion and contraction of the sheets would be from this point into the gutters on either side of the building.
