On-site Cranked Sheet Welding

The geometry of the building and the acute angles of the sheets meant the cladding was installed as front and rear welded panels with straight sheets running across the length of the roof. The Cranks were created at ground level where they could be set into a template and we could quality control the weld. The sheets were then welded on to the main roofsheet once lifted into position, a straightforward weld that permitted the crisp appearance of the building we have today to be achieved.
